Starting on Friday, October 13th (weather permitting), Chesapeake Bay Helicopters will be performing UV/IR patrols on the 500kV and 230kV and will also be performing Routine Patrols/Inspections on the 115kV lines in JCP&L. The Township will be paving Old Chester Road from Route 206 to Stanley Place on Sept. 12th and 13th. The road will be closed to traffic with the exception of school buses, and residents only. The Parks committee recently completed the Chester Township Park Committee’s Mission, Goals, Objectives, and Action Plan for 2017. This document was officially adopted by the Board on June 12, 2017 after spirited discussion over the past three months. The committee will be reviewing action steps during its monthly meetings.
