Recreation Director–Ed Bell
The Chester Township Recreation Committee is comprised of volunteers residing in the Township who are responsible for suggesting and assisting with recreation programs and activities in the community. Monthly meetings, which are open to the public, are held the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 pm at Chester Township Municipal Hall, second floor conference room. Some programs/activities offered are: town wide garage sale, summer camp, holiday lighting contest, snowman contest, photo contest, etc. Please check back often since many of these programs are time sensitive and seasonal. All programs are open to both Township and Borough residents. Look for special events and trips all year round!

Summer Recreation Camp Information- Summer Recreation camp runs for six weeks beginning early July and ending mid-August. It is held at Black River Middle School and the Chester Area Pool. Field trips are included weekly. Please visit the Rec Camp webpage to learn more.
