Chester Township receives a Safety and Loss Control Award
for their commitment to safety in 2020
Parsippany, NJ –Chester Township received a well-deserved safety award at Statewide Insurance Fund’s annual reorganization meeting. The township received the Safety Program Award which recognizes Fund Members that maintain safety and risk management programs, demonstrate an ongoing effort to improve these practices, and are receptive to the recommendations of the Fund’s loss control professionals.
Statewide Insurance Fund was formed in 1994 to address the insurance crisis that was facing public entities. Today, the Fund has members throughout the State and provides property, liability, and workers’ compensation coverage to its members. Award recipients are recognized for their commitment to safety, influence on safety culture, promotion of continuous workplace safety improvement, and a focus on safety initiatives that produce measurable outcomes.
