The Township of Chester maintains a modern, well-trained and equipped police department, serving the residents of Chester Township and Chester Boough, New Jersey.  Our department is staffed by 22 full-time officers, 4 part-time officers assigned to our public schools, and one civilian staff member.  Every member of our department is dedicated to the safety and well-being of the communities we serve.
