The Chester, New Jersey Police Department is proud to present the newest members of its fleet: four hybrid-electric Ford Police Interceptor Utility patrol vehicles. These are the second generation of the first hybrid police vehicles ever made. These vehicles will realize significant savings on fuel costs and consumption, will reduce carbon emissions, provide state-of-the-art technology, and will serve our police force well as we move responsibly into the 21st century.
