NJ’s new tree removal and replacement law
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) required the Township to adopt a new ordinance for tree removal & replacement under its stormwater regulations. Before removing any trees from your property, property owners are asked to familiarize themselves with the provisions of this ordinance, which is provided at this link.
Tree removal permit applications may be obtained at this link: APPLICATION FORM, or by contacting the Planning and Zoning Office. Please contact the Planning & Zoning Office with questions about this new requirement or for assistance with the application.
