Tree giveaway

Seedling selection – please choose 1 from the flowering group and 2 from the non-flowering group.  At 11:00 all remaining trees will be made available.

Flowering:

Redbud – 20-30’ tall at maturity, rosy pink spring blossoms

Dogwood – 30-40’ tall – white blossoms – well drained soil, partial sun

Yellowwood – 30-50’ tall – white blossoms & yellow autumn leaves- well drained soil

Non-flowering:

White Pine – 50-80’ tall - fast growing

Red Spruce – 60-13’ tall -moist soil – shade

Chestnut Oak – 60-13’ tall – nuts – tolerates rocky soil and windy conditions

Northern Red Oak – 60-75’ tall -moist well drained soil- acorns – likes sunny exposure

Mockernut Hickory – 100’ tall- dry soil – nuts
