How to Pay Your Garbage Utility Bill Online
Residents have received a bill in the mail that lists payments due to Chester Township for trash collection in April and October. This reflects the changes in our garbage contract with Blue Diamond Disposal (read more here).
Residents can pay this bill in person at Town Hall, drop a payment in our drop box outside of Town Hall, pay by check in the mail, or make an easy payment online (click here, or see 'tax/utility payments' button on homepage).
To pay online, follow these instructions:
Click on 'Tax/Utility Payments' button on the home page.
It will take you to the payment page where you can pay your taxes and/or your utility bill.
Fill out 'Utility Account Information' with your Utility Account ID, OR your last name OR your address and then click 'Search.'
Choose your name and address from the list by clicking on the circle. It will take you to the payment page.
Click on 'Make a Payment' and choose your payment method: credit card or checking account. Note that if you choose to pay online, there will be a small transaction fee. Click 'Pay Current Charges' and 'Continue.'
Fill out your banking or credit card information and confirm it. Then click 'Process Payment.' You will receive a receipt that you might wish to print, but you should also see the receipt in your email. Click 'Finish.'
